Register here! Save the date. November 5th in the Berkeley Hills near Little Farm, Wildcat View Group Campsite (directions below) is where Troop 1015 cooks a Turkey dinner for family, friends, guests and former scouts rivaled by no other.

Check out the recent Boy’s Life article on the Troop 1015 Turkey Feed, a tradition for almost 40 years. In 2013, Boy’s Life Magazine’s Melissa Barnes visited the cookout and took some great pictures of the evening allowing us to share them here. Space is limited. We encourage you to sign up early!

Take 880 North. Stay on 880 North towards the Bay Bridge. At the 80 Junction, take 80 East to Sacramento/Berkeley

Take the Buchanan St Exit. Veer towards Albany

Turn Right on Buchanan St. Buchanan St turns into Marin Ave

Drive straight on Marin Ave. Just past the 7 way “Circle” intersection (1.5 miles) is the steep uphill part. (You are driving halfway around the circle continuing to drive straight on Marin Ave.)

Turn Left on Grizzly Peak Blvd. A big 5 way intersection will be Wildcat Canyon, Spruce St, Canon Dr and Grizzly Peak Blvd.

Take a right on Wild Cat Canyon Road. Take an IMMEDIATE LEFT turn onto Canon Dr (downhill). Turn Right on Central Park Dr.

Turn Left on Lone Oak Road. This will turn into dirt shortly after you start driving on it. Drive until you see the closed gate. (It should be less that ¼ mile). Park your car on the side of the road somewhere.

Walk from the Gate less than ¼ of a mile up the dirt road. (A shuttle is available. Please give an rsvp stating that). You will see the first campsite on the right – uphill from the dirt road.

Just past the campsite, is a second dirt road on the right following around the campsite. It goes slightly uphill. There should be a sign that ways Wildcat View Group Campsite.

Walk up that dirt road and you should see a big brown Hut and a lot of Boy Scouts running around.
